Where we come from
Since 2017 we've been building the infrastructure that more than 100 brands use to measure what happens in their stores, across 18 countries in Latin America.
It started with a problem on the shelf
GU Trade began as a spin-off of Xseed, our staffing company in the United States, out of one concrete challenge with Grupo Danone: understanding what merchandisers were actually doing out in the field and, above all, whether they were reaching the store at all.
We started with the most basic question - was the merchandiser actually in the store? — and from there jumped to the one that matters: once there, did they do what they were supposed to do? Measuring that gave us the market's first execution KPIs, and made it clear this was far bigger than an internal project.
That's how GU Trade was born: real visibility into the store, so brands stop finding out late and start acting in time.
We didn't start by asking what software was missing. We started by asking why a decision made at head office took weeks to verify on the sales floor. That's still the question that guides the product.
The operation we run
We didn't grow by opening offices. We grew because our clients crossed borders and needed to measure the same way everywhere. That's why the platform runs on the same logic in a neighborhood corner store and in a regional chain.

18 countries
across Latin America, on a single platform
+50,000 stores
audited every week
+100 active brands
in modern and traditional trade
Three things we decided long ago and don't negotiate
Complete from day one
There's no basic tier and no features held back for the next plan up. Every client gets the entire platform from the moment they come on board, and integrations aren't billed separately. We'd rather a client grow by using more, not by paying more for the same thing.
The shelf doesn't wait. Neither do we.
An execution problem has a short window: solving it today is worth something, solving it next month isn't. That's why our response commitment is measured in minutes, not business days. On average, we answer our support chat in 7 minutes.
We don't hand you the data and walk away
Handing over a dashboard and wishing you luck is easy. Our analysts process the information and build the reports, so your trade team spends its time deciding instead of cleaning spreadsheets. It's the part of the job almost nobody wants to do, and the part that changes the outcome most.

The people you'll actually work with
We're not a contact form. When a client comes on board with GU Trade, they know exactly who they're talking to: the same Customer Success person, the same analysts, the same product team that listens to what's missing and decides whether it goes on the roadmap.
